1: Please explain more what you do.
I work in the obstacle course racing industry. I have been a professional athlete, coach, and most recently work on the backside of the industry as a consultant, media personality, industry expert, and more.

2: What is your biggest life lesson?
Failure isn’t always bad.

3: What is your biggest achievement?
Tough one, it continues to change over time. I feel like these days it is the little things. Like helping someone overcome a problem or fear.

4: What is currently the most challenging part of running your business?
I work from home and work pretty much behind a computer all day. The hardest part is knowing when to end my workday and finding quiet places to work sometimes.

5: What was the biggest hurdle you had to overcome to get where you are now?
When I quit my job in education in 2012, I entered an unknown world. The jobs I have today were not even around back then. Working in a new industry often means future jobs aren’t even created yet and I have to put a lot of trust in the universe.

6: What is your favorite book?
These days probably Fifth Sacred Thing or Station Eleven for fictional books.

7: If you could have anyone educate you who would it be?
I will take this from a mentor of mine. I think one of the best things about the world we live in is YouTube and technology where we can use both to be educated by virtually everyone in the world.

8: What is your deepest regret?
Not starting my podcast sooner as I love working on my Dirt in Your Skirt Podcast.

9: What is your favorite podcast?
This changes daily, as there are so many great ones out there I cycle through including - The Joe rogan Experience, Duncan Trussel Family Hour, Move Your DNA, Shaman’s Tech Support, Aubrey Marcus Podcast, Dream Freedom Beauty Podcast, Lore, Medicine Stories. The list could go on and on.

10: How people can get in contact with you?
People can contact me through my website: dirtinyourskirt.com or on social media.

11: What is your YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts?
YouTube: Dirt in Your Skirt
Facebook: www.facebook.com/dirtinyourskirt or www.facebook.com/margaretlschlachter
Instagram: www.instagram.com/dirtinyourskirt
Twitter: www.twitter.com/dirtinyourskirt

12: Who inspires you on social media and why?
I actually try to spend less time on social media these days and more time in the real world. I guess if I had to say someone on social media that inspires me it would be the people who are honestly themselves.

13: What is your favorite tech tool that you use in the your business?
My computer, DSLR camera, and DJI Osmo Mobile

14: How would you help people with disabilities?
I am lucky to work within an industry have is open to everyone, many of the races we cover work with people of various disabilities and love to be able to share the stories of people not only overcoming the physical obstacles on course but also proving the world they can do anything they want.

15: What is the hardest part of your job that you have to face everyday?
Probably the fact I work in the global economy so at anytime someone I work with is in their business hours. It takes a lot of time to set your own schedule and stick with it.
