Jacqueline Rainey's Interview

1: What is your deepest regret?

There are more than a few things that I regret, one of my deepest would be my
not being there for my younger brother and sister. Although I was raised in the Massachusetts Foster System they remained at home in the abusive environment I was removed from. The Foster System is still flawed because there are horror stories of abused children being abused by the foster parents that are supposed to protect them. The Foster System is broken! People need to be reminded that children are our future, but when you hurt and abuse and kill children are you not hurting, abusing and killing our future?

2: Please explain more what you do.

My Passion is writing. I’ve Tweeted about being born with a pen in my hand and I believe that to be true. I have no formal writing training, but those who read what I have written will definitely see my growth as an Author and that is what I strive for. I currently have four published books two are what I consider to be my venting projects. I put all of my past pain and frustration within them turning them into stories for the world to read and witness. I am still my best subject and it shows in the screenplay that I’m currently working on entitle “Dirty Blue.” I’m not the best writer, but see myself as being one that is yet to be discovered among the top Authors with something to say. I write about strong woman characters who suffer and come out better for it and that is something that most of us hope for in this life.

3: How people can get in contact with you?

I have an Author Facebook page under “Author Jacqueline Rainey”, I’m also on LinkedIn, but, Twitter is where I can be found daily. @BlueHarmonie. All of my books are available on Amazon and a number of other outlets.

4: What is your biggest life lesson?

My biggest life lesson is that I’m still learning.
