I am a licensed psychologist, author, and a metaphysical practitioner. I have worked for almost 20 years in state and federal prison systems and I am currently employed writing forensic evaluations for releasing inmates. My impactful and joyful position is being a change catalyst through authoring my books, giving inspired lectures, facilitating workshops, and through individual and group sessions. I have the ability to read people's energy and align with them to affect personal change. I also specialize in addressing loss experiences and trauma events and assist people in processing the event, moving the energy, and creating a future without the anxiety and dpression often subsequent to such experiences. I help people awaken to the soul self so they can awaken and live an enlightened life.
2: What is your biggest life lesson?
I believe the most impactful lesson in life has been to awaken to my true self and to learn to live from the love of my BEingness.
3: What is your biggest achievement?
Other than earning a Ph.D., I would say I am equally proud of getting published and founding my business LOVEstrong and raising two amazing boys.
4: What is currently the most challenging part of running your business?
Other than ever changing technology and algorythms, the most challenging part of operating a business for me is dealing with the politics of every day processes.
5: What was the biggest hurdle you had to overcome to get where you are now?
I think the hurdle I most needed to adress is one that we all face, fear. I believe we either live from love of we live in fear. Fear is debilitating emotioanlly, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. For me, it was overcoming the fear of being judege by others for being a spirit medium and working in spirituality. It seems people either embrace it or rebuff it. I did not want to bring attention to myself or my family. It can be difficiult to release the attachment to what others think of us.
6: What is your favorite book?
I have to choose just one? Oh boy. There are so many. I am a total book worm. If I had to select just one to read over and over for the rest of my physical BEingness, I would have to say my all time favorite is The Art of Happiness, by the Dalai Lama
7: If you could have anyone educate you who would it be?
Oh boy! Great question. I have read extensively on so many amazing scientists and spiritual leaders. I have a bucket list of individuals, living and passed, with whom I would like to converse. At present, I would say being taught by Nikola Tesla would be most excellent!
8: What is your deepest regret?
I can honestly say that I do not have any. I have learned to move through things with grace and ease. Once I awakened to my spiritual BEingness, I discovered a new way of BEing in the world. I have seriously analized everything from my past, moved the energy, and realize everything happened as it was intended. I have processed and acquired the lessons. So much less baggage that way!
9: What is your favorite podcast?
You mean other than Win Kelley?? I am a big fan of TedTalks. I enjoy the variety of content and have learned a great deal about so many subjects since it came into existence.
10: How people can get in contact with you?
I can be contacted via my website www.LiveFromLove.com or email at LOVEstrong@LiveFromLove.com, or telephone 317-743-5539
11: What is your YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts?
I am on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as Dr. Shelley Leutschaft. My YouTube channel is coming soon! The @ sign quick find is @DrLOVEstrong, because my last name can be hard to spell and remember!
12: Who inspires you on social media and why?
I follow so many amazing and inspiring people on social media. There isn't just one, but the individuals who stand out are the people who are compassionate, positive, and uplifting. They recognize the struggle of the human condition and aren't judgmental.
13: What is your favorite tech tool that you use in the your business?
Although I have tech, I am pretty basic. I don't go anywhere without a notebook and a pen. I get inspired with ideas for my books all the time and the information comes in so fast I have to be prepared to jot it down before it disappears. More recently, I have begun to use a mini-voice activated recorder. It's awesome!
14: How would you help people with disabilities?
I think we all have to work together to address mentally and physically handicapping conditions. None of us is better than the other, and everyone deserves a qulaity life that affords them to live with dignitiy and respect. Aboloshing the stigma and stereotypes regarding mental health and physical conditions would have a significant impact. I adress issues related to this every day in one way or another. While it seems like an uphill battle at times, I think overall many people are awakening to the fact that beneath it all, we are all the seeking the same thing. Love, acceptance, and compassion.
15: What is the hardest part of your job that you have to face everyday?
Hands down, negativity. As an empath I sense the energy of everything around me and some people put out a strong negative vibe that can be difficult to shake.
