Christie Martin's Interview

1: Please explain more what you do.  From a strategic perspective, I see what is beautiful in people and in all creation, and help others to see it, too, so that they can tap into that vision to create beautiful lives.  That’s my purpose in life. From a more tactical perspective, I think of what I do as a stool with three legs. One is the artist leg. I’m an artist. Another is I’m a writer. And the third leg is I’m a spiritual guide or coach. It’s taken me a long time to understand how to combine all these gifts together in a way that is interconnected and meaningful to others as well as myself.

2: What is your biggest life lesson? That I don’t have to figure it all out. That I have a direct connection with Source, and if I get still enough, and really listen, and trust it, that little voice will guide me through any challenge and support me in ways that would blow your mind.

3: What is your biggest achievement? Learning to be truly happy and grateful for who I am and what I have, right here, right now.  Because no matter what else you do, when you’re truly happy, it’s contagious. Other people feel it, and the happiness spreads. And when you’re starting from a place of happiness, even if you want to change things, you’re changing them from a place of positivity instead of from a place  of lack or frustration, and it really does affect what happens in magical ways.

4: How people can get in contact with you?  The best way is to sign on to my email list, that way you’ll get updated of new videos every quarter moon. I send motivational messages art and positive affirmations. It’s just something creative and uplifting each week. I’m launching my new website very soon, ArtOfAwakening.life. It might be up already by the time this gets broadcasted, if not I’ll have it pointed to my old site.

Effrosyni Moschoudi's Interview

1: Please explain more what you do.
I am a writer/blogger from Athens Greece. Both through my work and blog posts I express my love and passion for all things Greek. I write stories drenched in Greek sunshine, set in stunning locations around my country, but mainly in my favorite corner of the world - the idyllic island of Corfu. Your readers may know it from the popular TV series "The Durrells" (on PBS in the States and on ITV in England). Many readers say that my books set on Corfu feel like you're actually there experiencing it all, so they're popular among Corfu lovers - handy when nostalgia gets too much :)

2: What is your biggest life lesson?
If it doesn't work, let it go. I used to spend tremendous amounts of energy pursuing things in vain or staying in situations that just didn't work, made me unhappy, or depended on other people to result in success. I used to think that quitting means defeat but now I know how wrong that was. Nowadays, I have learned to let go when something is going the wrong way before things get really bad.

3: What is your biggest achievement?
Leaving behind office work in the corporate world to become an independent author and to share my work widely via Amazon and the Internet. Through this creative process, I have found unprecedented joy in my every day life (plus made some of the best friends I've ever had.)

4: How can people get in contact with you?
Via my site, http://www.effrosyniwrites.com, or on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/efrosini.moschoudi. There's a fun-loving bunch of book and animal lovers, by the way, all Facebook friends, who love to interact with me under my daily fun posts. Your readers are welcome to friend me so they can see these posts and join in the fun :)

If I may, I'd also like to invite your readers to go to this page and download two of my books for FREE:

Amanda Goodall's Interview

1: Please explain more what you do.
I am a resume writer and career strategist. Have been for 15 years! Love every minute working with job seekers and truly helping them figure out how to focus their career background and transferable skills to position their resume to get the interviews and obtain job offers.

I love taking a job seeker from totally frustrated and not knowing where to start all the way to them phoning me up with, "I GOT A JOB OFFER!"

2: What is your biggest life lesson?
No matter how hard things are, you can never just stick your head in the sand. You will never get anywhere. Just like when our mothers passed away, we could have just stayed static, but both Win and I chose to move on and get on with life. It is what they would have wanted for us too!

So life lesson- never stay still. Always evolve and chase opportunities; you never know where they will take you.

3: What is your biggest achievement?
Sounds sappy - but my 6 kids, and getting to the point that I can travel full time now as a digital nomad really. :)

I have been privileged to have be able to be home with my children (all much older now 21 yrs - 10 yrs) as they all grew up while still building my resume business. Proud that 2 of my kids now have their own company as resume writers too! :)

And ofcourse, dive into what I love doing: traveling and seeing the world!

4: How people can get in contact with you?
SO many ways! :)

Mike Gogerty's Interview

1/4/2019

1: Please explain more what you do. I am a Principal Consultant with the Illinois State Board of Education in the Nutrition Division. My position is to audit the National School Lunch Program to ensure that schools are properly using the money that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) disperses. My group started in 2016 with a young man starting a month ahead of me and one colleague I recruited from past experiences. I am the only original left of the three and I have been charged with training each new individual. I have presented at State sponsored trainings throughout Illinois with attendances of 50-200.

2: What is your biggest life lesson? Your dreams can change. I learned long ago, as silly/corny as it sounds, from a Garth Brooks song, Unanswered Prayers, that maybe we do not know exactly what we want. My mother left us when I was 11, days before my 12th birthday. Our father was not a compassionate father, but dam did he try. We prayed the rosary as a family each night for her return. I spoke with my school/church seminarian and he mentioned the song to me. We prayed for her return, but honestly, we were all better in the long run without her. We had mother figures in our lives, in lieu of my father’s sisters who each stepped up. Would it have been nicer to have a mother to turn to each night, yes. But maybe she was the mother we needed to turn to.

3: What is your biggest achievement? In my family, still being married and not an alcoholic. Professionally, I know there is further for me to go. But I have taken a back seat in essence to my wife’s career. This is not a “I am a great husband because….” My wife has always been focused. She went straight to college and got her nursing degree. Whereas I was more concerned with making the next dollar, not having a sturdy foundation. I job hopped for years, but not in the manner that Amanda Goodall would say was for positive reason. So when I went back to school in my later 20s, a business degree straddling a recession did not equate to much. When I got my MBA in early 30s, I started making the income I was hoping to make when I got my BS. But my wife, she has been the steady income and I have focused more on the benefits and child care. We have made it work for us and our family. In my family, I am the soul surviving relationship that started before age 40 that has survived. It may not be the professional answer that everyone looks for, but this is the foundation of what my life is.

4: How people can get in contact with you? Honestly the best way to start contact with me is via LinkedIn. I prefer to stay slightly guarded, so initial conversations through LinkedIn before moving ahead are great. From there, I look to make phone contact when possible.
